This term in year 4

During the first half of spring term in Year 4 we will be continuing to read "The Girl Who Stole an Elephant" as our guided reading focus, we will then look at a new book "The Boy at the Back of the Class". In our English lessons we will focus on stories from other cultures and planning and writing explanatory texts. We will be learning about multiplication and division in our maths lessons, also looking at measuring length and perimeter. In science we will be studying animals including humans and in geography we will learn about latitude and longitude. In history we will begin a new unit on Ancient Egypt, which will include an exciting full day workshop at school!
