At Roman Hill Primary, we understand the importance of Health and Wellbeing for our students, staff and the wider community.
Health is a broad subject which covers an array of topics that feature in our daily lives. We believe it is important to promote positive health through four pillars: Healthy Nutrition, Healthy Thoughts, Healthy Movement and Healthy Lifestyle. These pillars are embedded throughout the curriculum, across a broad range of subjects including Physical Education, Science and PSHE.
As we prepare for all pupils to return to school on 8th March, we understand that some children may be feeling anxious or scared about this change. Please share the presentation below on Returning to School with your child and discuss it with them. We hope that it will answer many of your child’s questions, offer reassurance and help them to process and share their feelings about returning back to school at this time.
Here are some resources that may help promote Health at home:
We at Roman Hill appreciate the support and positivity of every adult helping our students with remote learning. As a school, we understand the significant importance of promoting and looking after the health and wellbeing of our wider community.
Please see poster below which recognises the importance of Parents’ and Carers’ Health and Wellbeing during this challenging time.
