This term in Nursery

In Nursery this half term we will be focusing on recalling what happens in a story I have read.  Reciting Nursery Rhymes from memory and speaking using simple sentences.  We will also be working on talking about our feelings, and our families.  We will be working to use different mark making tools, using construction equipment.  To develop more independence when putting on coats and shoes.

We will enjoy singing a range of rhymes and songs and listening to longer stories.

Develop fast recognition of up to 3 objects and show finger numbers up to 5.  Talk about and explore different shapes.

Children will learn to understand the terms 'old' and 'new' and recognise old and new objects.  e.g. cars, shops and photographs.

Adding more detail to my drawings and being able to talk about what they have created.
