In Nursery, the children will hear lots of stories and rhymes. This term we will be reading a wide range of books which will include The Three Little Pigs, The Good Egg, & Errol’s Garden. Story telling is important and it helps children develop good listening skills and attention skills. We will be encouraging the children to make independent choices as they access a widening range of resources and to create stories as they work in small world settings/role play. We will focus on the physical development of our youngest children through developing a wide range of movement types, showing co-ordination and balance, following rules of a game and being part of a team, developing mark-making skills to form some letter shapes and doing up zips independently.
