Roman Hill Primary School

Inspiring Achievement

Celebrations!

Attendance

At Roman Hill we aspire for all our children to reach the Government's 96% target for their attendance. We routinely celebrate attendance within school and share our figures every newsletter for our parents and community.

Each week classes are competing for having the top attendance percentage for the week.

Every Friday, The Attendance Team will congratulate the winning classes (one in KS1 and one in KS2) and they will win the coveted attendance trophy to keep in their classroom as well as receiving a treat.

Class rewards will always be communicated to parents via email/text or by class teacher.

Rewards can be such as, Pyjama days, Non uniform days, movie and popcorn afternoons, extra playtimes, cake/biscuit decorating for example. The class vote on what they would like to have as their reward for their achievement

We also have our "Prompt Pupils" award for classes who have all children attend on time.

The winning classes too, receive a treat!

Across the term we collate the percentages into points and the classes across the school compete to win the termly attendance trophy - you can keep up to date by the points score sheet in our foyer area near the main office.
