This term in Year 6

In spring term year 6 will be focusing on the book The Empire Windrush in our guided reading lessons, this ties in with our history lessons that also focus on the Windrush and how the people of the Caribbean contributed to the war effort. In writing we will begin by focusing on explanatory texts, linking this to our science learning on the human body and circulatory system. In our geography lessons we will focus on human settlements around the world.
