Welcome to Our Nursery
We are delighted to welcome you to the Nursery at Roman Hill Primary School.
We know that choosing a Nursery is an important decision. At Roman Hill, we provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment where children feel safe, happy and ready to explore the world around them.
Our Nursery offers children their very first experience of school life, where they begin to build confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Funded Places
All children are entitled to:
- 15 hours of funded Nursery provision from the term after their 3rd birthday
Many families are also eligible for:
- 30 hours funded provision
If you are not eligible for 30 hours of funding, additional hours can be paid for privately.

Session Times
We offer flexible Nursery sessions:
- Morning: 8:30am – 11:30am
- Afternoon: 12:15pm – 3:15pm
Children attending full days (8:30am – 3:15pm) will stay for lunch between 11:30am – 12:15pm.
- A lunchtime provision charge applies
- Children will need a packed lunch from home
